I received my buisness cards in the mail yesterday. This is what the back looks like. I used a stock photo for now - I figured I could change it later and put one of my quilts on it. This will do for now

More Baltimore Sampler

I got home yesterday and my mother is doing better - not fine but better.
I didn't feel like working on my Daydream quilt so I played on the embroidery machine instead. I had one of these made already - made 2 yesterday and one today.
I also tried out my new pattern for bookmarks. I will need to practice more on those. They aren't as simple but they sure are cute.

This is the 1st I've been on the computer and when I checked my email I have over 300 emails but I only need to answer about 2 dozen. I will do that tomorrow.

Sneak Peek

Here is a sneak peek of a quilt I have been working on in my spare time - whatever that is. I designed it and I'm in the process of making the pattern. I still have 2 more rows to add plus the borders. Won't finish it this weekend - going to S'port tomorrow to be with my mother - she went in the hospital today.
Here is a closer look. I still have the paper on the back so it didn't press very well. I think I'm going to call it Daydream. I've always liked pink and brown together.

Preston is Here and we have a winner

Preston arrived today at 11:04, weighing in at 6 lbs 13 oz.

The winner of my Anniversary Giveaway is #24 Winona. Today has been such a busy day, I will email later this evening for the address. If you see this Winona you can send me your address and I will get it in the mail.

Thanks to everyone for following my blog. Sorry I haven't been posting much lately - life is getting in the way. I do have a quilt top I have been working on that I can't wait to share. It's one I have designed and plan on putting the pattern out at a later time.

Home Tweet Home

I thought I would do a little bragging since this doesn't happen very often. I won a bonus on the Fab Shop Hop for May from WebFabrics.net. So I had the chance to order the patterns for Home Tweet Home by McKenna Ryan. I will probably never get the chance to make this but I really liked it since the 1st time I saw it. If you click on the picture you can get a closer look. For some reason these have appealed to me - what can I say - one more for the to-do list.

Block Swap

Here are a couple of the last blocks I made for the Block Swap.
I kept waiting for them to show up on the Block Swap blog but they never did. Makes me wonder if my partners really like them.

Anniversary Giveaway

My mother and sister Bev from Quilter's Corner
gave me these 2 books for my Anniversary Giveaway. I converted this blog a year ago into a quilters blog and we thought this would be a nice way for my followers to celebrate with me.
The 1st book is Better Homes and Gardens Complete guide to Quilting and the 2nd is Iron on Transfers of Quilt Labels. So if you follow and would like to win these 2 books just leave a comment. And since my youngest daughter is giving birth to her second baby on the 22nd (next Monday) I will make it an extra special day and draw the winner and announce the birth of Preston (my 6th grandchild)

I'm back

I'm back - for what it's worth. I got back from Delaware late Friday night after a two day drive - 17 hours Thursday and 17 hours Friday. The drive took alot out of me and my mother. I picked her up on my way and we stopped by Batesville, Arkansas on the way up to check out Marshall Dry Goods and it was so worth it. I have never seen so much fabric in one place and the prices were fantastic.
I broke up the trip going up into 3 days. I probably should have done that coming home too. My left foot is still swollen.
I really enjoyed seeing my daughter and grandbabies. I didn't take very many pictures
This is Annie she is 7
This is Erin - she is 3
This is Jordyn and she will be 1 at the end of this month.
I'm such a bad grandma I didn't get a picture of Benjamin - he is 5

My daughter gave me this great piece of fabric to do my Baltimoresampler and I couldn't wait to get started. This is the 1st square - as if I need to start another project. I did get 2 quilt tops from a friend of hers to quilt - so that's another project to get completed.
