Leitfaden

I was surfing this morning and I came across this cute little sewing machine - Leitfaden. I don't know about anyone else but this is the 1st I've seen of this. I don't think I would want to have this as my only machine - maybe just for special projects. But I wouldn't mind adding it to my toys. It has special ink to dye the thread to match the fabric. Sometimes that is my biggest problem. I've looked around and can't find where it's sold or for how much. I would love to know how much it costs.

Cut Glass - In progress

I've been having such trouble with my computer lately that I haven't been able to post anything. I just figured out how to get it to take some writing. On top of that I've had someone hacking my emails - and that has really driven me nuts. I ended up changing my password 4 times. I put this picture on here yesterday to show what I've been up to lately. I got this kit from Connecting Threads. I really liked it and thought it would be fun. I think I'll order a little more fabric and make it a little bigger. If I put the borders on right now it will be 84" square and I'd like it bigger.

Chain of Events

I had another quilt kit that was collecting dust called Chain of Events.
I started this after work last week and finished it up on Saturday.
And as usual I added to the pattern and made it bigger.
I also had a piece of fabric that I used for the first border that I will be able to use for backing.

Even though I've been putting off quilting lately I did manage to get one row done.
Now that I've started maybe I will quit putting it off and get it finished.

Another UFO

I managed to get another UFO done this past weekend,
This was a kit I ordered a while back. It looked fairly easy and I figured I could get it done quickly.
I did make a few changes and it still turned out pretty good.

I've been doing anything I can to keep from quilting a quilt I put in the frame a month ago.
I did start quilting it but my heart isn't in it.

Design Floor

I do most of my designing on the floor.
I keep thinking about making a design wall but I always end up back on the floor.
Anyway I decided to put together my blocks from Block Swap Adventure.
These blocks have been sitting around for awhile now and I decided to at least put them together - Quilting will come later. I also had a few blocks left from a round robin my family did a few years ago that I never used. I made a couple of extra block and I had enough for a quilt.
The 1st step was placing them and figuring out what to do with them.
I had some left over strips from another quilt that I used in the sashing.
Used alot of Kona white.

I added the last blue border and called it done.
It's such a good feeling to get a quilt put together especially a UFO.
